Bel Amigo bids to extend his winning streak in the £13,000 Edinburgh Gin Seaside Handicap Hurdle on Edinburgh Gin Ladies Day at Perth.

Following three novice wins at Carlisle in the space of six weeks in March and April, the French-bred gelding reverts to handicapping for the first time since joining Nick Alexander from his native country.

Alexander also saddles Mack The Man, partnered by amateur rider son Kit, and the winner of the corresponding race last year.

Lucinda Russell is also double-handed with Evaluation and Cuban Cigar while Mike Smith’s mare Just Dottie has been raised 9lbs for her course and distance romp on the middle-day of the recent Perth festival.

Sean Bowen, who rides Just Dottie, will also fancy his chances aboard Peejaybee, trained by his brother Mickey, in the DM Hall Surveyors Handicap Chase.

The long-distance raider from Pembrokeshire showed improved form to score by a length at Ffos Las four weeks ago.
