HELLO JUDGE, trained by Northumberland permit-holder Ann Hamilton and ridden by Danny McMenamin, attempts to regain the winning in the feature race at Musselburgh’s final meeting of the year on Monday.

Lightly-raced over fences, he is likely to be one of the market principals in the Four Calling Birds Novices’ Handicap Chase over 2m 4f.

The gelding is owned by Mrs Hamilton’s husband Ian, who said: “The Go North Series Finals at Carlisle could be a spring target for him as he won there back in October. He’s a decent sized horse so hopefully Musselburgh won’t be too sharp him and we could do with a nice run as one of two/of ours have been disappointing recently.”

Also in the line-up is Restandbethankful, ridden by Sean Quinlan for his Appleby trainer wife Lizzie, who finished a close second at Musselburgh last month under positive ride over two miles.

And Dancewiththewind enters calculations on the best of his hurdle form as he tackles fences on just the third occasion with three-time champion jump jockey Brian Hughes in the saddle.

The card gets underway with the Seven Swans A Swimming Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle, which sees Nick Alexander’s Sanosuke bidding to follow a recent impressive strike over course and distance
