Jannas Journey returns to where it all started on Hamilton Park’s final card of 2025 as she bids for yet another win in a remarkable season.
Trained by Jim Goldie and ridden by Danny Tudhope, the four-year-old filly is aiming for her eighth success of the campaign in the Book Your Table Now At Carrigans Handicap over 1m 1f.
She lost her maiden tag at the ninth time of asking when landing a six-furlong handicap at the South Lanarkshire venue in mid-July and then proceeded to rattle up a five-timer. Following a minor blip at Thirsk, it business as usual in the Jimmy Long colours as she gained back-to-back victories at Musselburgh and Ayr.
Rivals to Jannas Journey include Mark Walford-trained Spioradalta, who has won four times this season and arrives off the back of a hat-trick of strikes at Ripon, Beverley and Chester.
Iris Dancer is after the outright modern-day record at Hamilton Park in the Sharing Angels Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap.
Trained in Cumbria by Tristan Davidson, she currently shares top-spot on nine course wins with Jim Goldie’s Jordan Electrics.
Two horses have their eyes on following up their wins in the same races as year with Shine On Brendan going for the Scoot Delivery, Shop With Scoot Handicap and Dandy’s Angel in the Book YOur 2026 Raceday Hamilton Park Handicap.
