During his riding days, Easterby has fond memories of beating the Princess Royal into second place when he was aboard Quinlan Terry in the opening amateur jockeys’ contest back in 1989. Now staged over 1m 5f, it is a race his son Thomas and daughter Emily have also won.

Pomme Pomme, a first ride at Hamilton Park for apprentice Rose Dawes, bids to extend her winning sequence to six-in-a-row in the Racing TV Fillies’ Handicap.
Dawes has been in the saddle for the three most recent strikes and the top-weight has a 6lb penalty for romping home at Haydock Park five-days ago.
