JIM GOLDIE is triple-handed in the Precon Braveheart Handicap at Hamilton Park.

The Uplawmoor trainer saddles recent Buttonhook Handicap course winner Faylaq along with stable companions Tafsir and Letsbefrank in the £30,000 showpiece.

Goldie, who has won the race in the past with the likes of Sir Chauvelin (2016 & 2017) and Theglasgowarrior (2019), said: “All three are course winners and I thought Faylaq did the job very well nearly a couple of weeks ago. We’ve got him in the Northumberland Plate next month and he could also turn up in the Ebor and the Cesarewitch later in the year.”

Also in the line-up is ex-French Creatif, trained by David O’Meara, who was won impressive at Newcastle two starts ago on his handicap debut.

And Charlie Johnston-trained Individualism, a half-brother to Group 1 hero Subjectivist, runs for the second time following wind surgery.

Local trainer Linda Perratt will be hoping Starliner recaptures winning or in the Luddon Construction 50th Anniversary Celebrations Handicap.

The East Kilbride raider has been second three times already this year including when going under by three-quarters of a length over a slightly shorter trip at Hamilton Park’s opening meeting of the season twelve days ago.
