JIM GOLDIE’S in-form Yaaser, a four-time scorer already this term, bids for a hat-trick in Tuesday’s £25,000 feature race at Hamilton Park.

The Uplawmoor raider faces eleven rivals in the Paycare Saving You Money Everyday Healthcare Scottish Trophy Handicap over 1m 1f.

Goldie said: “Jimmy Sullivan won on him at Doncaster last time as I needed his regular jockey Paul Mulrennan at Ayr the same day! He’s had a great season and Paul knows him inside out so there’s not much I need to tell him.”

The race also sees Andrea Atzeni and Tom Marquand in action for their only rides on the card.

Glasgow Stakes-winning pilot Atzeni partners likely favourite Glam De Vega for Roger Varian while Marquand – on just his second mount at the Lanarkshire venue – is aboard Wilkins for fellow Newmarket handler William Haggas.

Keith Dalgleish, successful last year with Platinumcard and in 2017 with Whatsthemessage, saddles Gioia Cieca from his nearby Carluke yard.

Jordan Electrics, who smashed the 6f track record when scorching to victory in late June, is one of two Ewan Whillans runners in the Paycare Health Cash Plan Provider “William The Lion” Handicap.

The borders trainer also runs another course and distance winner in the shape of Kilconquhar, ridden by Hawick-born Jason Hart on his first visit north of the border since his recent breakthrough Group 1 success.
