JIMMY LONG is keen to regain the champion owners’ title at Hamilton Park and his famous Patrick Thistle colours are sported by three runners on Thursday afternoon.

Two Auld Pals is the outsider of the party in the Welcome To Racing TV Club Members Handicap, recent course winners Wickywickywheels goes again in the Follow @RacingTV On Twitter Handicap while Banner Road makes her debut in the Racing TV HD On Sky 426 Restricted Novice Stakes.

The trio are all trained by Jim Goldie and their proud owner said: “We’ve had three winners at Hamilton already this season and I want my colours flying above the grandstand once more. In an ideal world Wickywickywheels likes a bit of give but she won here on Saturday night when it was good to firm so hopefully she will go close again under her penalty.”

Two Auld Pals faces a tough task as two of his rivals, Solar Joe and Jean Baptiste, arrive in winning form. The former scored by five-lengths at Pontefract last time while the latter got up in the closing stages at Chester in mid-June.

The afternoon gets underway with the British Stallions Studs EBF Nursery Handicap in which Jungle Fever and Jungle Time could be fighting out the finish.
