FAST AND LOOSE, a close runner-up in last year’s Ayr Bronze Cup, bids to go one better over course and distance in Tuesday night’s Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Handicap.

Ridden by Tom Eaves and trained by Kevin Ryan, he faces seven rivals in the six-furlong dash having been just pipped by a short-head in September.

The field includes top-weight Woven, who has been raised 6lbs for an emphatic victory at Doncaster 17-days ago and himself second in the 2022 renewal of the Ayr Silver Cup.

“That Doncaster win was his first for us as he’s a difficult horse to win with,” said his Darlington-based trainer Michael Dods. “It was soft last time and he should run again providing it is nice, good ground.”

The evening gets underway with the Every Race Live On Racing TV Maiden Fillies’ Stakes in which Jim Goldie has four runners including his home-bred filly Genevieve.

Mike Smith, winning trainer twelve months ago with Royal Regent, bids to land the Join Racing TV Now Handicap with Royal Countess, a recent course and distance winner from stable companion Flying Moon who is among the opposition.

Judgment Call is another course and distance scorer after more Ayr success as he attempts to follow up his strike of 19-Ayr ago in the Book Unite Scotland Summer Raceday Handicap.
