KATIE SCOTT kept her good run going when striking with Gweedore in the Bet At racingtv.com Handicap at Musselburgh on Sunday.

The Borders trainer, on the mark at the same venue on Saturday night with Spartakos, saw the top-weight and 7/4 favourite see off Eligible by three-quarters of a length.

“He barely stays a mile so this easy track is ideal for him,” Scott said after the four-year-old has gained his fourth strike at the East Lothian venue. “He’s really tough and genuine and we see where we can find another race for him with a bit of soft ground.”

Keith Dalgleish registered a stunning 221/1 treble supplied by Gometra Ginta, Three Castles and Haizoom. The first two carried the maroon and white colours of Ken McGarrity while Haizoom is owned by Stuart Morrison.

Gometra Ginty scooped the British EBF Scottish Premier Fillies’ Handicap for Callum Rodriguez, who said: “She loves it here and we planned to ride her prominently as we though we’d get an easy lead. That’s her fifth course win and I’ve won four races on her.”
