Isle of Skye Whisky Trainers' Championship
Isle of Skye 8 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky is Scottish Racing’s official whisky partner at all five Scottish Racecourses - Ayr, Hamilton Park, Kelso, Musselburgh and Perth.
The partnership deal, which started in January 2010, includes awards presentations at race days throughout the year, including Top National Hunt and Top Flat Racehorse Trainers at each individual course, as well as Scottish Racing’s overall ‘Trainers’ Championship’.

Isle of Skye 8 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky is available in all public bars at the five racecourses, along with three other Ian Macleod brands, award-winning Glengoyne Highland Single malt, London Hill Gin and Watson’s Trawler Dark Rum. In addition, promotional activity includes competitions, on course advertising and website promotions etc.

The Scottish Racing partnership follows Isle of Skye’s successful sponsorship of Top Scottish Jumps Trainer Lucinda Russell and her team at Arlary House Stables, including eight-time champion jockey, Peter Scudamore, and exclusive sponsorship of two of Lucinda’s winning jockeys, Peter Buchanan and Campbell Gillies. Further sponsorships include Isle of Skye branded horseboxes and newly branded staff clothing for the training team.
