There are five racecourses in Scotland. Between them Ayr, Hamilton Park, Kelso, Musselburgh and Perth will stage ninety nine racemeetings in 2008. Each racecourse offers a unique experience, offering flat and jump racing at different times of the year. The layout of each track varies dramatically, placing different demands on the horses and many of the fixtures have individual themes to enhance your day out as a racegoer!

However, whether you are a seasoned racegoer or a first time visitor, you will find that a common theme runs throughout each of the Scottish Racecourses: the standard of the facilities and customer service will be excellent, there will be a fabulous atmosphere and you will never be made to feel more welcome!

From children to businessmen, there is something for everyone at Scottish racecourses. Within the pages of this site you will find information about corporate events and sponsorship opportunities, as well as details of family days and children's entertainment. Novice racegoers can discover what to expect from a day at the races on the 'Going Racing', page, while anyone interested in taking a job in racing can find out more in the section on Education, Training & Jobs.

Up-to-date racing news stories can be found by clicking on the 'Daily Record' icon on the right hand side of the page. While if it is older information you are after, you will find an archive of recent press releases and photographs in the 'News and Media page .' To view photographs taken at each of the Scottish racemeetings, click on the link to John Grossick Photography. Photographs of all the winners and many of your favourite horses are available for purchase on-line.

If you are interested in booking tickets for a day at the races, why not look for a suitable raceday on the 'Fixtures' page and then click on the 'Book Tickets' icon, which will direct you to the booking site for your chosen racecourse.
